This caricature is perhaps a lesson to Germany not to try again what they tried to do in Stalingrade. The rat in the trap has on it in white '6-ia armiia' (6th Army) and the face probably represents General Friedrich Paulus, who was Commander of the German 6th Army in Stalingrad, so the rat is probably the representation of both Paulus and the 6th Army.
