In collection of Kremlin Armoury censer and chalice embossed with gold jewels and niello that was made in the Kremlin workshops in 1598 on the occasion of the death of Tsar Feodor I, son of Ivan IV (The Terrible) who is buried in Archangel Cathedral. They were donated to the Cathedral by his wife, Tsarina Irina Feodorovna Godunova, sister of Boris Godunov. Feodor had been a puppet of Boris Godunov. Unusual is the use of niello on gold, usually found on silver. Figures of Apostles are Russian in style. Height 25cm, side width 10.2cm, Inv. # MR-1154.
