The parade uniform of the Northern Nigeria Regiment comprised khaki drill with red fezes, scarlet zouave style jackets edged in yellow and red cummerbunds. The warrant officer on the right is also distinguished by yellow braiding on the front of his jacket. From a collection of 41 lantern slides, collected between 1907-1911, by Lieutenant H R S Massy, Royal Artillery, attached to the Northern Nigeria Regiment, West African Frontier Force.
