The design of the park was entrusted to Bernard Tschumi in 1983.In the foreground, such as playful constructions that dotted the parks and royal gardens of the 18th and 19th centuries, the follies of La Villette come to rhythm the park. Of 26, they are all built on the basis of a cube of 10.80m in size and arranged according to a standard frame of 120m x 120m. However, each of them is unique in form and function. With the background, the Geode, a cinema room wrapped in a spherical volume of 36 meters in diameter. Photography.
