Stiklestad July 1961: "The Game of Saint Olav". 200 valley waves draw every year in the Viking costume to live the night before the Battle of Stiklestad in the year 1030. The game is only going on for three days, and most foreign tourists miss out on a fantastic performance. Close to the playground, Olav's support, erected in the year 1807 in memory of King Olav Haraldsson the Holy, who fell in the Battle of Stiklestad. The artists were Ole Lyng and Nicolai Dajon.
