Image description: An overview of rationing stamps from the post-war period of the First World War, taken in 1943. As already after the First World War, food and other goods became scarce in the Second World War due to the weak economic situation, resulting in rationing. In order to distribute the goods fairly to the population and to prevent hamster sales, so-called rationing stamps are distributed. The scarce goods such as bread, milk, fuel and clothes are only possible in the shops through the additional distribution of these rationing stamps
