The Swiss entertainment orchestra Pepe Lienhard Band around bandleader Pepe Lienhard (middle) takes part on January 19th 1977 in the Swiss preliminary round for the Concours Eurovision de la Chanson in Zurich with the piece 'Swiss Lady'. With this song composed and lyrically by Peter Reber, the Pepe Lienhard Band won the national competition and was able to represent Switzerland at the 1977 Concours in London. Swiss Lady' is a tribute to the traditional instrument Alphorn played by Mostafa Kafa'i Azimi on the right. The lead singer Pino Gasparini stands 2nd from left next to Pepe Lienhard. Hans Moeckel conducts.
