The Swiss writer Walter Matthias Diggelmann (1927-1979) speaks at a podium in the Stadthaus Zuerich in March 1968. Since the early sixties, Diggelmann has been one of Switzerland's best-known, most prominent and also most controversial authors. He gets deeply into the ideological debates of his time and with his books he creates partly heated political debates. Diggelmann's work includes novels, three youth books, several narrative volumes, numerous audio plays, film scenarios, plays and television plays, reports, diaries and poems as well as countless columns.
