At the conference in Zurich, partial contracts, agreements and declarations for the transition of the former British crown colony Cyprus to the independent Republic of Cyprus wants to be debated. After further negotiations in London, Turkey, Greece, Great Britain and Cyprus sign the Zurich and London Agreements on 19 February 1959 in London, which regulate the constitutional issues of the State of Cyprus.
