NRA First Vice-President Charlton Heston responds to the applause by the crowd after he completed his speech at the 1998 National Rifle Association Annaul Meeting on June 6 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Heston, one of Hollywood's original action heroes, who is expected to be the next NRA president, made a campaign speech to thousands of cheering NRA members.
