Susan Carpenter-McMillan, spokeswoman for Paula Jones, addresses reporters outside the law offices of President Clinton's attorney January 17 after Jones, who is suing the president for sexual harassment, entered the offices to hear his deposition in the case. Carpenter McMillan chided the press for crowding Jones, and told them her client wanted \"to look across the table and look him right in the eye\" as Clinton testified before lawyers and a video camera. This is the first time a sitting president has been forced to give sworn testimony as a defendant in a lawsuit.
