Image description

Four tiger cubs, the first to be born in captivity in Hanoi, lie inside a cage at the Hanoi Zoo July 8, 2003. Their mother Lam Nhi (which means "Child of Forest") was confiscated from wildlife traffickers on July 19, 1998 in Vietnam's central province of Thua Thien Hue when she less than two years old. Lam Nhi gave birth to the cubs in the early morning of April 2, 2003 and became the first tiger to breed successfully in the zoo. REUTERS/ Kham NHK/TW
