Anaheim Angels third baseman Dave Hollins can't hold the throw as New York Yankees batter Paul O'Neill (R) slides into third base with an RBI triple in the fourth inning of an American League game April 15 at New York's Shea Stadium. More than 40,000 showed up to watch the noon game in the National League's New York Mets ballpark. The Yankees were to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the opening, but were forced to play the game at Shea when a 500 lb piece of the stadium fell into the seats April 13, closing the stadium.
