Image description: Pugin was best known as a famed architect at the forefront of the Gothic Revival style in Victorian England. Although he died in 1852 at the age of 40, he had already made his mark on the British landscape by helping to design the House of Parliament at Westminster, as well as notable churches and colleges. This volume of thirty one designs was intended to serve as inspiration for decorative architectural elements, such as moldings and carvings.
