A Paris fireman climbs a ladder as he helps locals harvest grapes in Paris's tiny vineyard on the slopes of Montmartre, which overlooks the city Sep 25. The vineyard, only1556 square meters, is the unique producer of commercialised wine within Paris. It produces an annual yield of grapes enough to produce an average of 400 bottles of wine. This year's wine will be named "Cuvee Dalida" to commemorate the famous French singer Dalida who died ten years ago. The firemen volunteered to use their fire-fighting ladders to reach grapes on vines that had crept high up on the walls of nearby houses.
