Connected to the land by a single bridge, this narrow island was urbanized a few years ago according to the plans of architect Sjoerd Soeters. A lane for local traffic runs along the entire north face of the island. On the south side, a large avenue for pedestrians borders luxury apartments. In the middle, a cycle path separates the inner gardens into two. The slightest square metre is functional on this island where leon opted for a high density of constructions.Photography 05/04/07.
