Eight F-15 fighters arrived from the RAF base of Lakewheath to reinforce squadrons from 13 allied countries now on 48-hour standby for possible air strikes on Yugoslav military targets in Kosovo. NATO on Wednesday increased pressure on Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic over the Kosovo crisis, sending naval forces to the Adriatic and shortening readiness to execute air strikes on Kosovo, where 45 etnhic Albanians died in an alleged massacre by Serb security forces last week.
