Safeguarding proceedings The bankrupt business bank Lehman Brothers brought the largest office tower in Europe into its fall. Unibail, who sold it to Lehman last year, could buy it for half a price, according to a rumour. In the Defense business district, the giant Coeur Defense Tower was the epitome years of office real estate. Today it symbolizes its debacle. With 355,000 m2, corresponding to 2 towers 160 metres high connected by lower buildings, Coeur Defense is the building with the largest usable area in Europe behind the Parliament Palace in Bucharest.
