Big game for investment. On a moonlit night the prefect of Lower Juba, in Somalia, ran with the country girl on the Afmedo-Chisimaio slope, when he came across two lions. Pressing the accelerator, the driver pushed the car against the fairs; the lioness, with a leap, managed to save herself; the lion, on the other hand, hit by the fender, was overwhelmed and seriously injured. The prefect and the travelers who were with him continued the race to Chisimaio. The next day they returned, armed, on the spot and, having found the dying beast, they shot it down.
