House In The Ngobe Bugle Indian Village Of Salt Creek Near Bocas Del Toro Panama. Salt Creek (in Spanish: Quebrada Sal) is a Ngöbe Buglé village located on the south eastern end of Bastimentos Island, in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago, Province and District of Panama. The community consists of about 60 houses, an elementary school, handicrafts and general stores. The villagers depend mostly on their canoes for fishing and transportation although the village is slowly developing together with the whole archipelago. Between the Caribbean Sea, with its mangroves, coral reefs, and paradisical islands, and the dense humid tropical forest of Bastimentos Island, lies the Ngobe community known as Salt Creek (Quebrada Sal).
