The pack,established by Lord Anson, was in existence by 1820, in which year and until 1829 annual hound lists were kept. It continued to be known as Lord Anson's Hunt until 1830, when on his being appointed Master of the Royal Buckhounds, it became, as it has since remained, the Atherstone Hunt. Companion to SHG.P.013.
