The elongated figure of the Madonna, dressed in pink, with a blue mantle around the lower part of her body, sits on the left, in profile to the right, her right arm by her side, her left around the Christ Child supported on her lap, who holds her neckline with his left hand, whilst twisting round to look at the boy John the Baptist, who stands on the right, facing left, pointing to the Christ Child with his right hand, holding a thin cross with its end on the ground in his right.
