Third Reich - Sudeten German refugees 1938

The picture from a Nazi news report shows a Sudeten German family who fled from Czechoslovakia after arriving in Zinnwald, Germany, September 1938. The original Nazi propaganda text reads: "Escape from the Czech cutthroats! Pictures from our special photographer from Zinnwald in Saxony, where Sudeten German refugees arrive on foot from the Teplitzer area. Our picture shows an entire family from the Teplitz area arrives in Zinnwald and has their refugee certificated checked. The only possessions they brought with them are their pram and a few briefcase. They had to give up the rest of their belongings to rage of the Czechs."
