THE DEAN OF WESTMINSTER, THE VERY REVEREND DR WESLEY CARR PLACES A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS AT THE FEET OF A STATUE OF MOTHER TERESA IN CALCUTTA. The Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr Wesley Carr places a bouquet of flowers at the feet of a statue of Mother Teresa in the eastern Indian city of Calcutta December 8, 2000. The dean, on his first visit to India, met Sister Nirmala, who succeeded Mother Teresa as head of the Missionaries of Charity. Mother Teresa, a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, founded the Catholic order to serve the poor of Calcutta.
