A special and unique demonstration of British military vehicle was held at the fighting vehicles research and development establishment (F.V.R.D.E), at chertsey, surrey today. staged primarily to promote sales in this special channel of our export trade, the display included little short of 100 different vehicles giving an immense range of usage. load and personal carrying motor workshop lorries, mobile cranes, tankers triers up to 60 tons for tank transpiration, and even armored ears were among the exhibits to be seen either on the display center or taking part in spectacular demonstration of their qualities on test circuits. The event has been orgainsed jointly by the ministry of Supply, to who are calcification the vehicles are built and by the society of motor manufacturers and traders, certain of whose members are responsible for the carrying out of the production programme. An armured Carrier 6x6 personal sealed for eading, demostating in 6 ft. of water, the driver cannot see and is guided by companion in turret. This vehicles is a carrier for personal in armoured and armoured car regiments and in Divisional engineer units.
