TILT up, LA. Daylight. Exterior, facade. The temple was built by Emperor Antoninus Pius in 141 AD. The facade is preceded by a long stairway with an altar in the center, and adorned by six Corinthian columns. The temple was converted into the Church of St. Lawrence (San Lorenzo in Miranda) perhaps as early as the 7th century.
