The end of the failed rescue operation and a detective during preservation of evidence on 7 September 1972 at the military airport in F¾rstenfeldbruck. The front window of the operated helicopter of the Federal Border Police shows numbered bullet holes. All nine Israeli hostages, five Arabian terrorists, and a Munich police officer lost their lives during the operation. Arabian terrorists of the group 'Black September' had attacked the Israeli accommodation in the Olympic village, killed two Israelis and took nine hostages in the morning of 5th September.
