LEYLAND PROTESTS CALL TO UMPIRES, 1997-10-10 (photo)

Atlanta's Kenny Lofton was called out by Gregg at second on a steal attempt, but it was a ball four for Jeff Blauser. He protested the call and left the bag without calling time and was tagged by Craig Counsell. Second base umpire Eric Gregg ruled a no call. Lofton later scored the Braves' first run.
