(JT) has agreed to purchase the international tobacco business of RJR Nabisco Holdings Corp., a maker of U.S. cigarettes including such brands as Camel, Salem and Winston, for $7.8 billion dollars, making it the world's third largest tobacco company after Philip Morris Cos. Inc. and British American Tobacco Plc. Japan Tabacco commands nearly 80 percent of the Japanese tobacco market and makes MildSeven cigarettes, a brand that is popular across Asia. TA/TAN
