21 year old Sandro Omar (L) and 19 year Cesar, both former drug addicts, wash their clothing on the roof of the Fundacion Dr. Sergio Berumen drug rehabilitation center in southern Mexico City, February 12. Both young men, Sandro an ex-cocaine user and Cesar a crack smoker, have been in the center for two weeks as they try to ween themselves off the drugs. Mexico has seen a dramatic increase in drug abuse as more of the narcotics, which make their way through the country toward the U.S., are being consumed locally. Drug are to be one of the principal topics for discussion for Presidents Zedillo of Mexico and Bill Clinton when the U.S. President visits Mexico this weekend. AW/HB
