Indonesian Moslem funamentalists are seen through the broken windows of the Indonesian Human Rights Comission June 23 after the group smashed the windows during a protest over the slow pace of an investigation into a massacre of Moslems in Jakarta in the 1980's. The mob of hundreds, chanting "Allahu Akbar" (God is great) later moved on to an upper class Jakarta suburb and smashed shopfronts, beer signs and beer bottles with bamboo sticks and iron bars as police stood by and did nothing. Hardline Moslem groups have trashed and torched scores of bars and discos in and around Jakarta in recent months. DW
