U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Mary Robinson, Andre Hediger, Mayor of Geneva, the President of the Swiss Goverment Flavio Cotti, an official of the canton of Geneva, and U.N. Vice-Secretary General Louise Frechette (LtoR) cut the ribbon at the newly renovated Palais Wilson which will house the offices of Robinson and her 200 staff in Geneva after the Swiss government handed over the building to the United Nations in an ceremony June 5. The building was named in 1924 in honour of U.S President Woodrow Wilson, founder of the League of Nations which were the forerunner of the United Nations. PVY/MR/SB
