FORMER PRISONERS SUHA BSHARA HOLDS HAND WITH FRENCH GREEN PARTY PARTRICK FARBIAZ, DURING SIT-IN IN BEIRUT. Former prisoner Suha Bshara (R), a main figure of the resistance which forced Israel to pull out from south Lebanon, holds hands on August 14, 2000 with French Green Party official Patrick Farbiaz (2nd R) and relatives of the 19 Lebanese prisoners who have been held by Israel for more than a decade. The relatives, who have been staging a sit-in opposite the U.N. regional headquarters since last week, appealed to the United Nations on Monday to secure the release of their loved ones. Human rights groups say Israel is breaking international law by keeping the POWs.
