Feb. 12, 1954 - Two Women Murdered At Old Fulks Home. A Woman who called herself Lady Menzies, and her daughter Mrs Isobel Veronica Chesney, were found murdered yesterday in the” Home for Elderly gentlefolk” which they ran at Montpelier-road, Ealing. Mrs Chesney, who was 42, was she appeared to have been attacked from behind while undressing, and left to lie as she fell. Her mother, wearing a red cardigan and fully clothed, was found in front of the fire in a ground floor sitting-room. Her injuries suggest that she was struck from behind.
