Cuban boy Elian Gonzalez leaves his private school February 3 with Mario Miranda of the Cuban American National Foundation. The six-year-old's Miami relatives and many in the Cuban exile community have expressed their outrage over a grandmother's account on Cuban television of how she bit the boy's tongue and looked at his genitals during their meeting last week. Elian's paternal grandmother Mariela Quintana, describing the meeting, said the boy was sad and timid and her actions were an effort to get Elian to warm up to her and his other grandmother. CB
