Electric buses stand stationary on a main road in Belgrade center May 24, after NATO air strikes over power plants near the Yugoslav capital. Most of Belgrade was reported to be without electricity or water on Monday after NATO hit power stations in widespread raids on Serbia overnight, local media and residents said. The capital's water utility said in a statement that power cuts because of attacks on the plants had disrupted the water supply system. Water reserves were down to eight percent, it said, according to the Beta news agency which reported that only 40 percent of the capital had water. PEK/AA
