Beer history. A worker at the brewery Stockholms bryggerier carrying a wooden storage box with that contains 50 33 cl bottles of beer. The beer was distributed this way to stores and to restaurants. It was nicknamed "Sofa". Stockholsm bryggerier started in the 1870s and was a cooperation with other Stockholm breweries to create a monopoly to encrease prices of beer and to to achieve higher profitability. This monopoly lasted until the 1950s when the law prohibited breweries from having a cartel, Sweden 1940s.
