A U.S TRAINED COLOMBIAN ANTI-NARCOTICS BATTALION MAKES A SATGES MANEUVRES IN THE MILITARY BASE OF LARANDIA SOUTH OF COLOMBIA. A U.S. trained Colombian anti-narcotics battalion performs maneuvers in the military base of Larandia in the Department of Caqueta south of Colombia, May 4, 2001. The training is part of the U.S. backed Plan Colombia. In the last 6 months the anti-narcotics battalion to eradicated near 34,000 hectares of cocaine cultives, in joint operations with the Aerial Force, the Police and the Navy under the supervision of the North American Military.
