A SOUTH KOREAN PROTESTER CARRY BOMB SHELLS IN SEOUL, 2001-01-27 (photo)

South Korean protesters carring two bomb shells which they say were used by U.S. Air Forces at the Hwasong county bombing range, are blocked by police from proceeding during an anti-U.S. protest rally in front of the U.S. Army Headquraters in Seoul January 27, 2001. About 50 students and civic group members staged the rally to demand the U.S. troop withdrawal from South Korea. About 37,000 U.S. troops are stationed in South Korea chiefly to safeguard against a possible conflict with the North. South Korea and North Korea are technically at war after their 1950-53 war ended in a truce and not in a peace. YUN/PB
