A small trip, 1944.

"The Kirchweihgans". At the beginning an amateur colour film of 1944, shot in WW2 with shortage of food.The family receives a goose from the country side to enjoy the feats roast on a religious holiday in Bavaria. TV The caption at 04:01:51 says: "This year unfortunately no goose. Otherwise we had invited you, dear aunt". But nevertheless the aunt comes for a visit on Sunday and the family had to hide to goose under the table. So the final title says: "When being very stingy a cold roast makes unhappy". // At TC 04:04:20 Another colour film by the same daily is called "Ein kleiner Ausflug - a short outing". The sister takes her younger brother, about 1-2 years old, to a walk on a nearby field where the boy plays on the ground and in the mud. When returning home mother is very angry about the dirty muddy kid. The film ends with the caption: "This film shows very clear: the Liesl is no nanny here".
