Image description

In Wiesbaden on 11 March 1953, US pilot Warren Brown (right) reports together with his comrade, the pilot Donald Smith (left), on the incident in which his military machine was shot down by Soviet MIG fighter plane. Brown and Smith were on a patrol close to the Czechoslovakian border, when they were attacked by two MIGs. Brown's machine was shot down and he saved himself with a parachute, Smith could land his plane undamaged.
