A Mexican anti-drug agent holds back journalists as a truck leaves the mass grave site in La Campana ranch in the northern border city of Juarez, December 2. Mexico's Attorney General's official said that the remains of six people have been found in the ranch. The hunt for corpses at four different sites near Ciudad Juarez, a city of 3 million racked by crime and violence and also a major conduit for Colombian cocaine heading to the United States, is the first serious investigation into nearly 200 people listed as disappeared in the city. The Juarez Cartel, based in Ciudad Juarez in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua, is one of Mexico's most violent drug cartels, thought to have shipped tons of Colombian cocaine across the Rio Grande into the United States.
