Child prodigy in the Vatican. In the Sala del Tronetto SS Pius XII received Minou Drouet, the little poet who in September 1955, when she was only eight years old, was amazed by French critics and readers with the publication of a volume of beautiful poems. Many then doubted whether the verses were his and attributed them to Claude Drouet, the elderly young lady who had adopted her, after removing her from a foundling hospice in Paris.
