A night view of Saint Angelo Castle from the top of the famous ' Passetto di Borgo ' (passage of suburb) during the first hours of its official opening in Rome, late July 24, 2003. The ' Passetto di Borgo ' is a medieval fortified bridge connect Vatican City to Saint Angelo castle and was used in the past by Popes to escape from the sacred rooms to the security of the castle.
