Visitors look at the destroyed deck of a North Korean spy ship, sunk in a gunbattle with Japan Coast Guard vessels, displayed at Tokyo's Museum of Maritime Science June 1, 2003. More than 12,000 people visited the museum to see the rusted vessel. The ship is riddled with bullet holes and contains firearms and a smaller landing boat which was put in the stern. The spy ship, which sank off the Japanese far south-western island of Amami-Oshima island in December 2001and was salvaged last fall, was transported for the four-month display which opened to the public on Saturday.
