Keiko Yanoma, from the publicity department of NTT Mobile Communications Network Inc (NTT Docomo), holds in her hands the upcoming cellular phone i-Mode models D501i Hyper (C) and N501i Hyper (R), and F501i Hyper, which were recently launched with a price of 35,900 yen (about $315), at NTT Docomo headquarters in Tokyo January 26. The new digital cell phones will allow subscribers to obtain services including telephone banking, reservation of airline and concert tickets, stock puchases, e-mail and Internet access as well as other services. The i-Mode online service will start February 22.
