Creator: Kenneth Hurlstone Jones A general street scene in Shanghai, showing a significant number of rickshaws in the rickshaw stand outside two-story shops that have Mandarin Chinese signs outside them. Some of the owners, wearing Chinese conical hats, are standing with their rickshaws. The fourth building furthest down the road is built is stone. A telegraph pole at the side of the road supports a line that runs down the street. In the road a local boy looks towards the camera as he walks past. A policeman, wearing loose dark ankle-length trousers and belted tunic white helmet and dark shoes, has his back to the camera. Also in the road is a two wheeled rickshaw being pulled away from the camera by a barefooted man in white clothes.
