AFGHAN HORSEMAN COMPETING IN BUZKASHI TRADITIONAL AND NATIONAL SPORTING EVENT IN KABUL IS CARRIED OFF THE FIELD. An Afghan horseman is carried off the field after he fell from his horse and was trampled by other horses in a March 22, 2002 "Buzkashi" sporting event in a Kabul stadium held as part of the new years festivities. The sport is played with a 30 kilo goat and the objective is to pick the goat up from horseback as the opposing team members try to take possession of the goat.
