Oslo 1967 A computer at the University of Oslo will ensure that the fastest election results of the time for the municipal elections are available, and can be presented on the TV screens in the thousand homes. The computer cinema, a Controll Data 3300 produced in Minneapolis came to Oslo with its own aircraft, cost 5.1 million in purchases and a quarter of a million annually in operation. Estimated life as the main machine for the univeristet: Five years. In Norway, there are five such computers in 1967, and about 140 computers in total.
