Komagfjord, Finnmark, 1962 19 -year -old Alfhild Lunde from Larvik, who took artium last year, is a teacher at Komagfjord school. Here she shows some of the few aids the small school has available. Discipline problems are not found at Komagfjord school, but otherwise they lack everything. They have never had a qualified teacher, the air in the classroom is lousy, the textbooks are obsolete. There is no focus on school, because the children could have gone to the new Korsfjord school half a mile away - if it had been the way there ... and while politicians are arguing, life goes on the small school.
